Here too, you will have the choice of your playground! You can fish for zander in the Aveyron river from Montricoux to the confluence with the Tarn, in the large body of water of the Parc de la Lère in Caussade / Monteils, at the Tordre reservoir in Léojac and finally at the gravel pit from Balat-David to Montauban.

Black bass
Compared to pike and zander, its reproduction period lasts until around mid-June. Indeed, once spawning is complete, the black bass remains on the nest to protect the fry. Hold on to your rods! The black bass offers very spectacular fights, where the fish jumps out of the water to try to get off the hook. Lac Vert in Montpezat de Quercy has beautiful specimens of Black Bass which will not resist a well-animated popper lure. The no-kill course in Parc de la Lère is also home to a nice population which becomes active as soon as the water temperature in the lake drops a few degrees after the heat of August. For this one, choose lures in flashy colors and lures that produce a lot of vibration, like spinnerbaits. You will also find some at Lake La Clare in Albias.
Carp
